Founded by Brooklyn-born designer Hector Diaz, Kurriizmatic is an innovative, gender-neutral brand with sustainability at its core. Utilizing a method called "Negative Waste," Hector transforms second-hand clothing, fabrics, and scraps into new garments through traditional "kilim" weaving and the slitweave technique, resulting in unique, eco-friendly pieces.
Kurriizmatic addresses fast fashion and overconsumption by crafting bespoke garments from discarded textiles, merging craftsmanship with sustainability to produce handmade clothing that embodies both style and environmental consciousness. As a pioneer in sustainable fashion, the brand is dedicated to creating stylish pieces while promoting a greener future.
The brand has been showcased at Vancouver Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2023 and 2024, and featured in prominent publications such as VOGUE Mexico, VOGUE Italia, Paper Magazine, Glitch Magazine, FORBES Magazine, and ELLE Magazine.

Avernus Imperius (Chaos Control or Controlled Chaos) is the latest collection from Kurriizmatic, inspired by the chaotic nature of human impulses and our attempts to control them. This more wearable collection balances chaos and order through the use of unconventional materials and innovative construction techniques. It defines the Kurriizmatic concept of "chaos control," presenting staple silhouettes in a fresh, unexpected way.
