With only a handful of tracks released, scattered over a variety of labels and compilations, rrao has been turning heads with their ethereal take on both ambient and rhythmic electronics that induce trance-like meditative states. rrao is a member of the SLINK collective, a New York based party series and record label born from the desire to encourage DJs to explore the outermost boundaries of dance music and rhythms. SLINK serves as home for outsider and too-slippery-to-be-defined dance music. They hope to create dance floors that twist the mind as much as the body. In addition to their own events, rrao has performed at many festivals and parties including Sustain Release, Dripping, Unsound, Return to the Source, The Bunker, and Honcho.
